out in the new firmware version.

nge.
-
The firmware already supports a potential 2-card
device in case needed in the market
- The device now sends a beep tone when no SD card is inserted and the user
attempts to record
V2.03 technical release 2019-11-26
The firmware 2.03 is the 4th feature enhancement package for the Pocket Memo
voice recorder range.
-
This feature enhancement firmware supports ‘dot’ characters (.) in the keywords.
This is required e.g. if Active Directory user names are used in the ‘Author’ property field (e.g. john.smith).
-
This adaptation has been done in advance to support the corresponding feature enhancement in the Philips Remote Device Manager (PRDM) version 4.3, in SpeechExec Enterprise Version 7.0, as well as in SpeechExec Version 11.5.
V2.02 technical release 2016-12-22
- This firmware adds Finnish as menu language to the Pocket Memo
- DPM8900: The End-of-Letter function of DPM8900 when using the Remote Control now
saves and closes the dictation immediately and automatically opens a new
dictation (equal to LFH0955)
- The default date and time has been updated to 2017-01-01
- When setting the PIN Lock timer the power save timer will use the identical
value to avoid timer conflicts.
V1.91 technical release 2016-12-22
The firmware 1.91 is the 3rd feature enhancement package for the Pocket Memo
voice recorder range.
- CR | New default microphone setting: In
order to avoid pop & hiss noises this firmware version sets to use the 360° mic
as the default microphone, which normally is located further away from the
speaker’s mouth and ensures a constant recording level independent of the sound
direction.
- CR | 0000 Pin: Some users who configured a PIN on the Pocket
Memo accidently pushed the OK button (e.g. device is in pocket). The device
interprets the OK button as pin “0000”. After several times the device asked for
the PUK2 pin. The new firmware version still accepts the pin “0000” but does not
count it as a wrong trial.
- CR | Delete data list: The functionality to remove a data list
from the DPM was missing. This functionality has been implemented. As soon as an
empty list.csv (with no entries) is stored on the DPM the existing data list
will be removed. This makes the “List” quick access function from the
smartbutton disappear.
- CR | Remember scanned barcodes: The behavior of barcode
scanning was quite uncomfortable for some users who enabled the setting “Barcode
into keyword” and enabled for the same keyword the option “Mandatory keyword”:
The user then scanned a barcode and confirmed. When starting recording the
device asked the user to scan a barcode again. The DPM with the firmware 1.90
does not ask the user anymore, it uses the already scanned barcode. When the
user switches the device off and on again the remembered barcode will not be
available.
- Fix | List view: The new firmware version solves a bug in the
data list view, which should be the same as the first row of the data list view.
- Fix | No priority selectable: When the user disabled the EOL
button e.g. via the HWD SDK or SpeechExec workflow software it was not possible
to set the EOL or Priority flag via the file menu on the device. This bug has
been solved in the new firmware version.
- Fix | Charging via power supply: When the user deactivated the
setting “USB charging” on the DPM, the device could not be charged via the
docking station if a power supply was connected as well. This bug has been
solved in the new firmware.
- Fix | Write barcode into keyword field: With the previous
firmware it was not possible to scan a barcode into a keyword if a data list was
stored on the device. The device stored the barcode in the barcode field of the
DSS header instead of the desired keyword. This bug has been solved by
presenting the well-known “barcode-into-keyword” screen after the device has
searched for the scanned string inside the data list. This is independent if the
barcode-string has been found or not in the data list.
- Fix | Audible distortion in voice activated recordings: In
some rare cases when the recording mode was set to SP and the recording started
using the Voice Activation feature an audible distortion has occurred. This did
not happen when the recording mode was set to QP. This issue is sorted out in
the new firmware version.
